Reduce Q Criterion in 2020 Updates to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 (which we called California AB100 Law)

NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard in 2020 edition is a new lead leaching standard that takes place in new drinking water fixtures. The new standard - California AB100 Law, requested to reduce the current Q criterion in NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 from 5 µg for faucets and other end-point devices to 1 µg; And 3 µg for supply stops, flexible plumbing connectors and components to 0.5 µg.

Effective by Jan. 1st, 2024.

New NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard - California AB100 Law will be effective by Jan. 1, 2024. It become mandatory for all faucets and water devices in endpoints which certified under NSF/ANSI/CAN 61. After Jan. 1, 2024, All the products need to comply with the 1 µg/0.5 µg Q criteria. The products without compliance will no longer be qualified for certification under NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
